Because Matt asked so nicely,

So it has been awhile since I last blogged... yeah so what... want to fight about it?

Anyway, life has been really increasingly busy for me. It seems as life slows down for Emily with the end of CC it picks up for me in the areas of work and school.

First of all School. Well, classes are getting a little rougher, the homework load is picking up, but overall it is still light; however, my Modern Chinese History class continues to be bothersome. Last Tuesday we were in class for 15 minutes before someone came by to post on the door that class was canceled, didn't even bother to come in and tell us though. It is really sad because I was really hoping to ask her (my professor) a few questions about our major presentation assignment that is due next week. We do not have a rubric for it, and the syllabus says little to nothing at all about it as well. So on the bright side no class, negative side, I have no idea what the heck I need to do for my homework for next week, oh and I had to wake up for nothing. Another school related note, I might just be here for a full 5 years. That would be quite a kick in the wallet, but hey the loans are deferred right?

Second, Work. All of my jobs are pretty easy, nothing too hard at all really. The RA gig on the other hand is proving to be quite a challenge this year. It is not because of the residents, for the most part they are good, some of the people I work with however are getting to me. The lack of organization is increasing, and so is my stress level. I would like to vent about it, but I cannot really on here due to the somewhat public nature of my blog, and the off chance that some of these people might read it. If you want to know more though just ask.

Third, almost time to vote. November 7th is quickly approaching and I am going to need to decide whom I am voting for soon. The only real election that I am sure which way I am voting on is the Senate race, Fitzgerald gets my vote. The other races? I really do not know. I do not really want to vote for the Right, but the Left is looking no better. I mean, in my eyes, the ends are just getting further and further apart and I am looking for someone in the middle; so where do I go? I almost want to go vote at home because then I can vote against Bachmann; she is just insane. When all is said and done though, I still do not know who to vote for. One of my residents keeps telling my about this MPR thing that will match my views to candidates, maybe I should give that a try.

Forth, Wedding Planning. So the wedding is getting closer and closer and Emily and I are doing more and more. We have a general lay out for the invites, we just need the paper and a new font and we are set (minus actually construction of these things). We are starting to look into retreat and NFP classes as well. Last weekend we went out with Josh and Gina to talk about some of that. It was a good night too, we went to the Chatterbox pub; a nice little restaurant with s pretty good menu and the ability to play games at your table, and we played apples to apples. Overall though we are starting to make progress again which is a good thing.

That is about it I think. I will write again sooner or later. As always comments are welcome.

Man, I wish we were back there sometimes. We're both voting in MN though - absentee. I'm excited to vote for Hatch for govenor (he's been amazing for working class and lower class persons in his role as AG, and that'd be great to see in the state capitol), but other than that, I don't know yet.

Oh, if you've got NFP quesions or wedding question andn all that stuff, you can always ask Laura and me too.
