TN the trip home.

So last week was spring break and Emily and I, along with our friend Becky drove down to TN. That is an intense drive. I have never been on a road trip more than 5 hours before in a car, and this killed that old recorded. Killed it. So yeah, I do not know how willing I am going to be to spend a lot of time in a car in the near future, but overall it was a good experience. And I got to drive a stick shift which I only do in a blue moon.

The time in TN was good though, we went to a museum, and to the mountains, almost to the tallest point in the smoky's but it was closed till the 30th (the road) and we did not feel like walking for 7miles to get there. We also went hiking, and my only comment on that is this, if something says a short loop through the park, be weary of it. Very weary. The last thing we did before we came back was spending a night in a cave, now I will admit I had my doubts a little, but the tours were great, we explored the caves and crawled through all kinds of cracks and crevices, and we also went out onto the worlds second largest underground lake; stocked with rainbow trout. The size of this great lake was however somewhat deceptive, with a name like the lost sea and worlds second largest I was left expecting something more than we experiences. I was left very disappointed with the size of the lake.

The trip was a good one overall; I would do it again easy. Maybe next year Jeff and Erin will come see us.

Tennessee (Emily's post)

So my attempt at a smart post didn't go over so well. Ah well, if you want, continue (or start) to comment on it. I won't be posting for about a week, since I'm going to Tennessee for spring break and probably won't be at a computer much. I am looking forward to this trip, except for the part where we sleep in a cave...what is wrong with people? Who actually thinks that that is fun?

Summer Trouble... if you can call it that.

do you take a summer job that you will like with people you like, or another job which you might like where you dont know anyone but pays 2$ an hour more?

Friday Night

It is friday night, and what am I doing? Sitting in my room writing a blog. How sad. It is not that I do not want to do anything, it is just that there is nothing to do. I could go out with some kids I know to a party, but I am not really a party type of person, so what does that leave me with... my room, my tv, a book, a computer, and tea... good old tea... looks like its a dull Friday night for me.

My 8th grade classes

Well, school is kind of dull this semester my classes are not too bad in general, even if they are 8th grade classes, or so I am told. The lineup looks like this: Finite Mathematics, Microeconomics, Human Geography, and Christian Morality. I personally do not think my semester is too much like 8th grade, but then again generals are more like high school plus, well at least for some of them (cough....math....cough). Life is good otherwise, last night Emily and I went to the Wild game and had a good time there. There was a moment of silence for Kirby which was really nice. The best part about the night was wear our seats were... now you have to understand that we got these tickets free from TCF bank, Emily won them, and wow... we had... and this is not an exaggeration, the farthest back seats possible, we were not even in the stands, we were at some bar like thing overlooking the stands overlooking the rink... it still had a good view, but wow... the absolute furthest back that you can get. Anyway that’s what’s going on right now, look for more info later.

New link

The link to the story for the missing viedo from earlier is here at CBS and the video is available on that page as well but I am having trouble getting it to load so you might just have to go on the story (not as much impact, but still good).

Hell Week

Well, im getting closer to the end of this week. 3 tests and a short paper. The paper and math test are done, econ is up here in a few minutes and Geography will be happening tomorrow morning. Overall though, most of the tests should not be too bad, it is just kind of overwhelming to have them all in one week. That is it for now I suppose, I will write at the end of the week, till then wish me luck.
